The Andrea II

Andrea is a JASA SARA Housing client. Andrea and her husband, Robert, first met when renting units in the same building. The couple fell in love and have been happily married for over two decades. Robert and Andrea attribute the success of their marriage to patience and understanding, and they have recently become proud grandparents.

A few years ago, Robert and Andrea were forced to leave home. They had to seek refuge at a homeless shelter and had to part ways with their three cherished canines. Following a period of five months of residing without a permanent abode, the shelter recommended they enroll in the SARA (Senior Affordable Rental Apartments) initiative. The duo subsequently relocated to a completely furnished apartment and happily reunited with their dogs - Pearl, Pebbles, and Snowball. JASA provided Robert and Andrea with essential supportive services, such as assistance with benefits applications and a home healthcare assistant.
