The Olga R.

Olga Rogatina is originally from Moscow, Russia. When she was young, she studied at an arts program with a famous Russian artist. She put her talents to use and became an engineering schematic drafter, and later worked as a home health attendant and beauty salon manager. 

Olga moved to Brooklyn 23 years ago, near JASA’s Luna Park Older Adult Center. When she retired 5 years ago, she started looking for art classes, and found JASA. In addition to art classes, she enjoys Zumba and Belly Dancing. 

“I love art, I’ve always loved to draw. I did not do a lot of painting before, but I discovered painting at JASA.”
