The Susan

 Susan was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City. She spent her entire career working as a tax preparer until her retirement. Seven years ago, a neighbor recommended JASA Warbasse Cares NORC to Susan when she needed some assistance during her recovery. Susan decided to try a class taught by Madeline and discovered her love for all the things Madeline taught her.

“I love the process of creating in a pleasant group. Another class I totally enjoy is Jennifer Wade’s classes at the Coney Island Scheuer House where we do clay and tile work that can be fired in the kiln.”

Apart from classes, JASA Warbasse Cares NORC organizes various trips, including visits to Carnegie Hall, Brooklyn Museum, MoMA, and the Met, among others. Susan looks forward to these trips and sees them as a bonus to the classes she enjoys.
